Export LinkedIn Contacts With Phone Numbers: How scary is it to think that fifty years ago, people had no way to determine what that little rash on their forearms meant? Ladies couldn’t ask relationship experts if their husbands were getting distant or if women just needed the occasional break from their crying kids.
Think about standing in the hall next to your locker and not being able to text your friend who said they’d be there stat. This all sounds like a twisted, dystopian reality, doesn’t it? Life without smartphones and the internet is unimaginable today, but not for the reasons you’d think.
If one could tell Albert Einstein that young teenagers are spending their days on smartphones, he’d probably think he’s achieved what he wanted. The curiosity of young minds is being fed with thousands of theories and answers whenever they want!
However, surprisingly, Google is not the most used app on most teenagers’ smartphones. Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok are the top three competitors for the most used apps, followed by YouTube, Pinterest, and other niche platforms.
The one thing all these platforms have in common is that they’re almost used for entertainment purposes only. They can make your day better by showing you comedic content and entertaining anecdotes, but there’s not much to actually teach you something valuable.
Smartphones have achieved exactly the opposite of what they were designed for. Instead of saving people’s time and effort, they’ve only increased it. People spend more of their time on phones rather than at work. In fact, it has gone so far that people are actually getting jobs based on their ability to create content everyone likes and wants to view.
The only solace is platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn, which, albeit unnecessary, are professional and useful platforms with a productive goal. People can actually learn things here that might help them with their future rather than spending another hour on mindless media consumption.
In today’s blog, we’ll talk about how you can export phone numbers from LinkedIn contacts.
How to Export Phone Numbers from Linkedin Contacts
Step 1: Launch LinkedIn on your smartphone and log in to your account.
Step 2: The first screen you’ll land on is the Home tab. At the top of that page, you’ll see the LinkedIn search bar. Tap on it.
Step 3: Enter the username of the person whose phone number you wish to export and hit Enter.
Step 4: From the search results that appear, tap on the user you’re looking for.
Step 5: This will bring you to their profile. If you’re connected to them and follow them, you’ll see a blue Follow button and a small circular button with three dots. Tap on the smaller icon.
Step 6: From the pop-up menu that appears, tap on the third option called Contact Info.
Step 7: On the next page, you’ll see all the information they’ve chosen to add to their profile. This includes their profile link, email address, website, birthday, and phone number.
You can add that number to your contacts and call them at an appropriate time for all the information you need. However, if they haven’t listed their phone number there, we’re sorry that no other LinkedIn option can show you their phone number.
However, you can always do things directly. Contact them via email or send them a DM asking for their number. Remember that this is a request from your side; be polite, respectful, and thankful.
