TikTok is all anyone can talk about today, especially teenagers. And truthfully, no one can disagree that it is an entertaining platform. But is entertaining really what teenagers should do when their brains are at their highest learning and growth potential?
One might argue that the platform boasts content from all niches: art, humor, beauty, fitness, cooking, science, pop culture, or gaming. And that makes complete sense: all people like to feel important. When a social media platform shows us content tailored to our likes, we automatically favor it over other platforms.
Watching content every day for longer periods until an external interruption breaks the flow is mindless media consumption and is very harmful to the brain. It triggers the brain to release dopamine constantly, which messes with your natural reward system.
Soon, you won’t feel motivated or energized enough to do your daily tasks and chores because the only thing you want that can make you happy is endless scrolling.
Don’t worry; getting to that stage takes a long time. For now, all you need is to set a daily timer for 15-20 minutes on TikTok and no more than that.
In today’s blog, we’ll talk about how you can find your saved videos on TikTok.
How to Find Saved Videos on TikTok
Step 1: Launch TikTok on your smartphone and log in to your account.
Step 2: The first page you’ll land on is the FYP or the For You Page on the Home tab. Locate the video that you wish to save. If you’ve already saved the video, carry on to the next step.
Step 3: At the bottom of the page, you’ll notice five icons. Tap on the icon at the extreme right, with the word Profile written under it.
Step 4: This will bring you over to Your Profile. Under the Edit Profile button and your TikTok bio, you’ll see four tabs. Tap on the third tab from the left, which will be an icon of a bookmark.
Step 5: This tab will contain all the videos you’ve ever saved. It’s also commonly referred to as the Favorites tab.
The Favorites and Saved tabs are the same on TikTok. If you want to keep them separately, you can choose only to like the videos that are your favorites.
That way, your Liked videos will then turn into your personal Favorites videos.
