Can You Find Someone on Pinterest by Phone Number?
If you’re a new user on Pinterest, you might be feeling a little bit lost on this large platform. It’s entirely understandable that you’d want to add your friends to your list through their phone numbers.
It might look like phone numbers are a convenient way of adding someone to your network; that’s how Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat do it, right? They sync your contacts and show you your friends who use those platforms so that you can add them quickly.
Thankfully, Pinterest also understands how useful it is to add your friends to your profile without looking them up individually.
However, remember to add them to your contact list first. There’s no way to search for someone through their phone number on Pinterest; you’ll have to find them by syncing your contacts.
How to Find Someone on Pinterest by Phone Number
Step 1: Launch Pinterest on your smartphone and log in to your account.
Step 2: Your Home feed is the first page you’ll land on. At the bottom right corner of that page, you’ll see a small icon of your profile picture. Tap on it.
Step 3: This will bring you to your profile. At the top right corner of your profile, tap on the three dots icon. A pop-up menu will appear with several actionable options.
Step 4: Tap on the first one called Settings. On the Settings page, you’ll see several options under the subheading Account information.
Step 5: Tap on the second to the last option under Account information called Privacy and data.
Step 6: You’ll see an option called Sync your contacts with a toggle button right next to it. By default, it is turned off. Turn it on, and you’ll be good to go.
How to tune your feed on Pinterest

Step 5: Instead of tapping on Privacy and data, tap on Home feed tuner.
Step 6: Your Home feed is based on four factors: Your boards, history, the topics you selected when you created your account, and the profiles you follow. You can edit all of these factors in this section.
There you go! Now you don’t have to worry about irrelevant or uninteresting content on your Pinterest Home feed.
