Step 1: Open the Facebook app on your smartphone or the web version of it on your browser.
Step 2: Tap on the Three Lines icon at the right of the screen and you will be redirected to the menu screen.
Step 3: Go to your timeline by clicking on your Profile Picture as shown in the below image.
Step 4: Navigate the post on which someone has made a problematic comment and tap on the Comments.
Step 5: When you view the comments made on this post, Long Press on the comment you want to hide.
Step 6: After that, a pop-up menu will appear in front of you, with five options on it: Reply, Copy, Hide Comment, Delete and Give feedback or report this comment
Step 7: The option you’re looking for is obviously the “Hide Comment“, so you’ll need to tap on it to hide this particular comment.
Step 8: As soon as you do it, you’ll notice how this comment has turned paler in comparison to all the other comments on the post display a message “This comment has been hidden” which means that it’s now hidden from others.
