Anyone who is even remotely connected to the digital world today would agree that Google, with all its diverse services, has simplified our lives to a great extent. Starting out merely as a search engine, Google has evolved into a much bigger platform today, integrating all kinds of services that one might need, be it mailing facility, exchanging texts, storing pictures and videos, maintaining calendars, and more.
Another popular service launched by Google, one that’s not so popular in Asia due to its present limitations, is Google Voice, a phone management service that Google had launched back in 2009 but is yet to roll out globally.

How to Identify Google Voice Number
Method 1: Identify Google Voice Number on App
Do you use Google Voice on your smartphone? Then you can follow these steps and find your Google Voice Number. Note that the steps will remain the same for both Android and iOS devices, as the user interface of Google Voice’s mobile app is the same.
Step 1: Navigate Google Voice’s icon on the menu grid of your smartphone and tap on it to launch the app on your device.
Step 2: As soon as you do, you’ll find yourself on the Calls tab of your app, with a search bar on the top and your recent call history listed below.
Step 3: Navigate a hamburger icon on the top left corner of your screen (leftmost side of the search bar) and tap on it to open a menu.
Step 4: On this menu, navigate Settings with a cogwheel icon next to it and tap on it to view your account’s settings.
Step 5: On the Settings tab, navigate the Account section, for, in this section, your Google Voice Number will be displayed on top. You can copy this number from here and forward it to your friends easily.
If you find no number listed in your Account section, it indicates that your Google Voice account has not been set up yet. In that case, you must set up your account fully before receiving the Google Voice Number.
Method 2: Identify Google Voice Number on Website
As we’ve discussed earlier, Google Voice is also used as a web app by many customers. If you’re one of these and are struggling to identify your Google Voice Number, we’re here to solve your problem. Just follow these quick steps to get to your Google Voice Number:
Step 1: Open your web browser, type in https://voice.google.com/u/0/about in the search bar on the top, and hit enter.
Step 2: On the top-right corner of this page, you’ll see a blue Sign in button. Tap on it and enter your login credentials to sign in to your Google Voice account.
Step 3: On the page, you’ll land on after logging into your account, navigate the hamburger icon on the top left corner and tap on it.
Step 4: As soon as you do, you’ll be taken to your Settings page, wherein you’ll find your Google Voice Number listed under the Account section.
Just as we’d mentioned after the last guide, the absence of your Google Voice Number can only indicate one thing: you haven’t completed the process of setting up your Google Voice account, which is why you haven’t received your number yet.
