How to View Instagram Photos At Full Size

Gen Z is thought to be the most fashionably eccentric and supportive generation. And it’s completely obvious why that is. Children who grew up in a time when everyone was open to discussing and accepting serious mental disorders certainly have the upper hand. Another great asset that has largely shaped the personalities of Gen Z is the internet. Almost every teenager you meet today has more than one social media platform that they use. After Facebook, Instagram is the most used social media platform worldwide.

Since we all know just how much Gen Z likes Facebook, we know that Instagram hosts the largest number of Gen Z users. And while some might think this is just a coincidence, any social media marketer will tell you exactly why Instagram is the preferred social media for the younger generation.

While there are many factors to discuss here, we’ll only talk about a few which can easily be observed.

The first reason Instagram won’t go out of style in the upcoming years is its ability to change, adapt, and innovate constantly. Although it might be a bit annoying to download a new Instagram update twice in one week, the results are worth it, don’t you think?

Instagram constantly adds new features and options to the platform to make it more and more enticing to users, especially Gen Z. Reels and Explore are two of the most engaging features on Instagram, and they seem to be working.

Another thing to watch out for on a social media platform is the privacy and security features. While a platform might have more fun parts, it is important. The internet already knows almost everything about a user, but on social media, there’s a risk of all your known data being given over to other users.

Thankfully, Instagram is well-equipped to help you in that regard, too. Their privacy policy is airtight, and none of the personal data you enter to enhance your experience is shared with anyone else.

Instagram aims to give you the perfect social media experience and will help you with it. Moreover, if you encounter an inappropriate or creepy user, you can also deal with them. There are a few ways to restrict someone’s access to you on Instagram, varying in severity.

In today’s blog, we’ll discuss whether you can view Instagram photos in full size. Stick with us till the end of this blog to learn all about it.

How to View Instagram Photos At Full Size

Instagram is best known for its media-sharing feature. One of the reasons why people use Instagram is to share pictures and updates from their life with their friends and acquaintances.

However, it doesn’t stop there. Instagram is slowly becoming a major content-based platform with the introduction of reels. More and more trends and challenges encourage people to create their own content.

The most important word on Instagram today is “aesthetic.” No matter what you’re posting, it should have something that can help it be sorted into one particular aesthetic category. While some might claim this is too complicated, it’s just what people seem to like the most.

So, coming back to your initial question: how can you view Instagram photos in full size?

Well, unfortunately, you cannot view Instagram photos in full size. The ideal post size on Instagram should be 1080 pixels x 1080 pixels. The format of the platform just doesn’t work that way.  There should always be space left above and below for username, location, comments, likes, and the sharing option. Reels, on the other hand, are full-size, which means they cover your entire screen.

A few months ago, Instagram tried to introduce a full-screen content format, but it didn’t go over well. Users highly criticized this decision on Twitter, claiming Instagram was copying TikTok to an extreme level with this.

So, at least for now, users are stuck with non-full-size photos out of their own accord. If anything should change, we’ll definitely let you know!

Now that that’s out of the way let’s discuss one important thing we mentioned in the introduction. Instagram is always concerned with its users’ privacy, security, and experience.

If you’ve encountered particularly unpleasant users and wish to get rid of them, don’t worry; we’ve got you.

Here’s how to block someone on Instagram

Step 1: Launch Instagram on your smartphone and log in to your account.

Step 2: The first page you’ll land on is your Instagram Home screen. At the bottom, you’ll see a tab with five icons. Tap on the icon next to the Home icon (a magnifying glass icon), which will take you to the Explore page.

Step 5: Tap on the option of your choice, and you’re good to go.

In the end

As we end this blog, let’s recap all we’ve discussed today.

Isn’t it fun seeing one of your best friends posted on Instagram after a long time? Although you don’t have time to gossip about your lives, you have a general idea of what’s happening with them!

However, we’re sorry that there’s no option on Instagram to let you see their full-size images. The ideal Instagram image size is 1080 pixels x 1080 pixels, and we’re afraid that’s a fixed size. There must be space left for username, location, likes, and comments.

Lastly, we discussed how you could block a user on Instagram should they make you feel uncomfortable in any way.
