Here’s how to unblock someone on Instagram
Step 1: Open Instagram and tap on the icon at the screen’s bottom right to go to Your Profile.
Step 2: Tap the hamburger icon at the top right. On the menu that materializes, select the top option, Settings.
Step 3: On the Settings page, you want to select Privacy. Now, scroll down to the bottom till you find Blocked Accounts.
Step 4: On the following list, tap the Unblock button next to the user you wish to unblock.
Now, all you need is a good excuse for this, and there are plenty. But you should keep in mind that people don’t react well to being blocked, be it a close friend or acquaintance. Unless you’re sure you’ll be able to convince them that it was a mistake, don’t try this method.
